Hooke Court - School Diggers Mandy and Peter Cooper, owners of Hooke Court, run a residential education centre there and have always been fascinated by the history of the building. It appears to be a moated manor house with a very interesting past and Mandy has been trying to get to the bottom of the house’s history since they moved there in 1995, but no-one has been able to tell her how old the house is, or what might have happened there in the Civil War, when the house was reported to have been burnt down by Parliamentarian troops. Today, the house is full of interesting features that point to a very early construction date, but the site is still full of mysteries.... Time Team have just three days...
