| The Wedding Present - Scargill Castle In a first for the show, Tony and the Team are invited to investigate a very unusual wedding present. When two archaeologists married, groom Niall Hammond gave his bride Caroline a ruin, Scargill Castle in County Durham. The castle was reputed to have been a medieval stronghold in a violent era of battles between English and Scottish kings. The Team have just three days to explore the history and layout of the site in order to paint a true picture of what the castle looked like in its prime. |
