Wendy: Felixstowe: 12th February 2005

Three of us went to see Tony Robinson's Cunning Night Out at the Felixstowe Spa Pavillion on February 12th.
Tony arrived on stage to thunderous applause from a mixed age audience. Scanning the audience and deciding he was among his peers, he started the evening by telling us, along with some family photos, about his early life. His father's RAF career and musical talents and his mother's drama involvement were spoken of lovingly with humour.
The evening covered many subjects on both Worst Jobs in History and Time Team and included some very entertaining video clips!
Some of Tony's portrayals had the audience in stitches and his audience participation was particularly funny.
He certainly met his match with a rather tall young lady he chose for the Walker/Fuller sketch!

Tony's energy is amazing and the evening flew by far too fast This is definitely a show not to be missed. It was also great to be able to meet Tony after the show, for signing of books and photos. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A true star!

Thankyou Tony (and team) for a fantastic evening.
